The Colorado Department of Transportation is excited to announce the 2017 Colorado DRE and SFST Instructor Update Schools. These updates will be held in five different locations across the State to allow you to attend closer to your home agency. The locations are: Ft. Morgan, Lakewood, Pueblo, Durango and Rifle. The dates are listed on the registration site. The dates and locations can also be found on the POST Training Calendar.
Here are the registration details. Please visit https://lead_impairment.eventbrite.com. You will find the dates and locations of each training listed. Click on the appropriate training venue/date that you wish to attend. Complete the online registration. You will be able to print a confirmation \'ticket\' at this point. Details of the training will be emailed to you also. Please have your POST ID number and for DRE your IACP DRE Number available for registration.
Each location will have a different number of student seats available. Please ensure that you can attend the date and location that you register for. If in the event you need to change your date, please go online and make your changes accordingly.
If you are a DRE and a SFST Instructor---- You do not have to attend both, you may only attend the DRE Update. You are welcome to attend both days, however, your DRE update training will satisfy both requirements.
*** Important Information *** You must attend the entire day of training to receive credit for the day. If you are not able to attend the entire training, please register for a date that will allow you to be present for the entire day.***
This training is free and open to any Colorado DRE and/or SFST Instructor.
