Coag.gov Website Honored by the Conference of Western Attorneys General
DENVER – Attorney General Cynthia H. Coffman and her staff have been honored for having the best state attorney generals' office website. The award was given by the Conference of Western Attorneys General (CWAG) at their annual conference last week. Colorado's newly designed website was launched in January 2016.
The Colorado Attorney General’s website was recognized for its best over-all design, greatest ease of use, most up to date content, greatest mobile compliance and best use of technology. The office is praised for "highlighting their commitment to consumer protection, public safety, and community engagement" on the website.
The Attorney General's Office of Community Engagement is featured prominently on the site's front page. Users can quickly find information and resources concerning domestic violence and sexual assault prevention, substance abuse protection, consumer protection, human trafficking prevention and school safety. The Attorney General’s website also is more inclusive than ever before, offering many resources in Spanish.
